Whats New in my Make up bag - Ulta Target & walgreens Haul

So the idea of this video didn't pan out but I had  planned on doing a first impression on this look, and the make up came out but the footage didn't make it on here :( 

But I still thought I'd show you what I came home with after doing a little retail therapy.

Target Haul - Beauty Products + Some

Hope your all having a wonderful Saturday. 

The first half of my Saturday's I usually spend doing errands catching up on laundry that sort of thing. So there were some things I need to go get to target and, I thought I would share with you.  Some of you may not know but I'm obsessed with Sonia Kashuk, a beauty line at Target its so amazing. Their quality is amazing and its not super expensive like some high end brands. I had just stopped by for body wash and some other non beauty related products .

But of course as always I stopped by the beauty isle not expecting to grab anything but I have been in search of a brush similar to the one I got. I had been watching some tutorials by Scott Barnes and he was showing what he contours with to not over do the contour. Anyhow the brush is very similar to the flat ended brush, only his is a log wider than this one, but I assure you this will do. Plus I love finding more affordable alternatives.  I can't even get over shape of the brush & the packaging!!
I also picked up some of her lipsticks in Barely Nude  & Pink Nude . These are great for me since I wear minimal make up to work on a daily basis. Gorgeous yet nothing that requires extreme doll face. But then again if your gonna go full on cake face in my opinion a nude color is a great option as it will keep everything in balance.

Lastly the Acrylic case I picked up, was a must, I know we all have those products we use everyday , and I don't know about you but I like things to be ready  up on my surface so I can just grab and go. I hated taking out all my make up, and then putting it back. I had seen these all over YouTube but I didn't' think they were necessary and then I decided to grab them yesterday and I gotta say its life changing.  This one that I grabbed is actually designed to hold your hair brushes and what not but for the make up I'm most gravitated to it holds so I'm good with that.

Summer Smokey Eye: Pink & Orange

So I kind of have no idea whats going on , but Ive been on a pink kick lately when it comes to the eyes.  I mean pink is my favorite color but I usually don't do it on the eyes. Well here is my latest eye make up .

Producsts used :

Gel Liner :M.A.C

Painterly Paintpot: M.A.C

Minerlizing Skin Finish: M.A.C

Pink Matte : Bissu ( Mexican Cosmetics Line ) 

Bright Orance & Soft Light orange shadow : Manly Cosmetics (180 Pallete ) 

Get the Look 

Step 1 : Prime your lids MAC Painterly Paint pot is what I used but you can use any base of your chose loreal makes a good one as well.

Step 2: Brush: Sigma E 55
With a Flat shader brush from I applied the pink matte shadow using patting motions , this allows you to get the most out of your shadow .

Step 3: Brush : Sigma SS275
Angled blending brush  I applied the dark / brighter orange shadow and really deepened my crease  usping windshield wiper motions . Do this until you have the desired amount I tried not to over do i t.

Step 4: Sigma SS224
Any fluffy blending brush will work for this next step. With the lighter shade of orange I blended the light and the orange to tone it down a little bit.

Step 5:  Once I had the desired shade between those two I applied a nuetral color from my BH Cosmetics Neutral Palette  and applied that in the brow bone then blended out the orange and the nude.  Of course this step is optional but I think it looks a lot nicer when its all blended out . 

The Face : 

I used a Concealer from ELF Cosmetics and  MAC Minerlizing Skin Finish  for the contour . I just bought this Skinfinish from M.A.C , and I love it its so smooth and the perticular shade that I got is perfect for contouring it gives you that natural contour .

Megan Fox Inspired Makeup - Everyday Make up

Today I tried out a new make up look with my new palette from BH Cosmetics  ,this look was inspired my Megan Fox's eye make up. She usually has this gorgeous neutral smokey eye so here are the results.

This is such a gorgeous make up look , good for everyday , and or special events I googled Megan Fox Make up and I saw that this is pretty much her signiture looks and the lips is what varys I do not have a lip color excuse me please . You can add a Nude lip or a bright Red.

After a bad experience with Manly cosmetics I swore I wouldn't buy anymore pallets at least large palettes. I had bought the 180 palette which had every color you can possibly think of and I found that I only used the neutral colors at least most frequently ,but the reason I had a bad experience is because the eye shadows were super powdery and wouldn't stick to the lid. My friend finally convinced me to get the BH cosmetics palette and I'm so glad I listened the colors are super pigmented and very rich !!

My first make up look with this pallets will be up tomorrow .

Rihanna Partners with M.A.C Cosmetics

Rihanna and M.A.C Cosmetics are partnering and I'm super excited because my favorite artist and my favorite make up brand are partnering up together.
She is on fire right now her album Unapologetic sold Nearly 1MIL .


She just came out with her new clothing line for River Island in London . Rihanna is such an inspiration to me and many other women , I loved how  she didn't have the typical runway and switched it up a bit having the models on different platforms wish I could have been there ! Let me know what you think will you or would you wear her collection ?

I think this collaboration is special for many reasons . There will be four collections ,RIRI Woo is the first product to hit the stores , and will make its premiere on Rihanna's Diamonds Tour , I thinks thats awesome get dolled up before the show !  What I love the most about this is that she really tried to create a red lipstick that would compliment every women / girl no matter what your skin shade is without mimicking Ruby Woo! I am beyond excited and can't wait for this to come out ! I'm sure RIRI Woo is one of the best collections but I LOVE PINK !!So I would probably buy just for the packaging .

Oscars 2013 - Best Dressed

I love award Season so many beautiful Gowns and stunning hair and Make up .

 ( But mostly hair and gowns that I'll never get to wear . ) The make up on most of the talented ladys on the Red Carpet was very simple keeping the focus on the hair and accsesories.

Sock Bunn how to

So today I was yesterday I was on my way to school and I figured I would give you guys an update on the Sock Bunn How to Guide ... I hope you enjoy this look and try it out for your self it is quick / easy and you can make this simply classy !!! As seen everywhere from Fashion week to celebs to the streets this was 2012s hotest hair trend and still going I first saw it on Adrienne Bailon when she was filming "Empire Girls" on the Style network ,both her and Julisa frequently had this hair do.Soon after I started seeing it on  almost every celeb including : Lauren Conrad,Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and well many more ... Lets get started..

what you will be needing :

Hair Brush

Two Hair Ties

Sock

Scisors

Bobby pins

Tooth Brush

 

Step 1: Take an old sock black or white if your hair is dark and you can find a black one I would very much suggest it ,  and you want to take some sicosrs and cut the toes off your sock, now you want to roll it roll it roll it all the way until you have the shape of a doughnut or somehting similar .

Step 2:  Next you want to brush out all your hair to make sure it isnt tangled and put it up into a ponytail you can position it as high or low as you desire I personally like it super high.

Step 3)Now this is where your sock comes into place =) put your hair through it starting from the tip of your hair and now your going to roll your hair inside the sock all the way down same idea as before.

   Tip: As your rolling your hair down you want to kind of seperate in half and distribute the hair evenly around the sock .

Step 4) Take your tooth brush and smooth out any flyaways and hair spray !

Step5) Almost done now your just going to check to see if there is any hair left out and if so bobby pin it inside the bunn.

And your done !! See that was pretty easy and quick and you look amazing !!

I love this hairdo because you can wear this almost anywere you can wear this to weddings,out to do errands,school or work .

How to get Long Lasting Curls

How to get perfect Curls or Waves ..
I like to combine all 3.  How??  Okay lets get started!
Step 1) brush hair make sure it’s tangle free. And spray with a heat protector.
Step 2) grab an average amount of hair. And wrap around your curling iron / wand. Hold for 10 secs
( if it’s too hot use gloves)
Step 3) slowly let it fall into the palm of your hand and roll into a curl and secure with a Bobby pin or small clip.
Step 4) repeat till you’ve sneak your entire head. And let them sit for a while i let then air whole i do my make up. And then i let them fall.
So that’s how i get my curls now for loose waves i use the same method. But instead of pinning. I let it fall into the palm of my  hand hold there for a lil then let them fall and spray with some hairapray. ….
What you’ll need :
Many many bobbypins
